We are excited to invite you to an enriching in-person workshop on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), happening in Singapore. This two-day program is designed to help you discover the depth and relevance of India’s timeless wisdom and equip you with practical tools to bring it into your home, classroom, and community.
This workshop is ideal for parents, educators, and anyone passionate about holistic education, cultural heritage, and sustainable living. Over the course of two days, participants will explore fundamental aspects of IKS through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and meaningful discussions.
Who is this for
Educators | Parents | Educational Leaders | IKS Enthusiasts
Topics You Will Explore
The workshop is thoughtfully curated around five core themes:
Holistic Educational Philosophy & Effective Pedagogy: Learn how education can nurture all dimensions of a child — physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual — and how to apply these principles effectively at home or in school.
Wisdom from Ayurveda & Yoga for Well-being: Experience practical insights from Ayurveda and Yoga to enhance your health, manage stress, and bring balance into daily life.
Nakshatra Vidya (Observational Astronomy): Discover how observing the stars and understanding the nakshatras connects us to nature’s cycles and shapes the Indian cultural calendar.
Ganita (Mathematics): Explore India’s unique mathematical techniques that develop speed, accuracy, and cognitive skills — ideal for engaging children in fun, effective learning.
Cultural Ecology & Sustainability: Reflect on traditional ways of living in harmony with the earth, and learn actionable steps to promote sustainability in modern life.
What You Will Gain
This workshop is not just about learning concepts — it’s about empowerment. By the end of the two days, you will be able to:
✅ Understand and apply the wisdom of Indian Knowledge Systems in your own life

✅ Design and conduct afterschool/weekend programs introducing IKS to children in your community
