Anaadi Foundation

Anaadi Foundation. started in 2015, is a dynamic socio-spiritual non-profit organisation dedicated to inculcate shraddha in the Rishi parampara through Sadhana,  Indian Knowledge Systems and conemporary science and tech. Founded by Siddhayogi Shriman Adinarayanan and Matrushree Ananthalakshmi Ji, Anaadi focuses on spiritual upliftment, education, rural empowerment, and IKS research and dissemination. The Foundation’s initiatives are grounded in the principles of Yogic and Vedic wisdom, and its impact spans across diverse sectors, including education, rural development, wellness, and technology.

Guru Parampara

Valli Devasena Sametha Subramanya Swami is the guiding devata at Anaadi Foundation. We are guided by the divine vision of Kriya Babaji and the Pancha Siddhas: Agastya Maharishi, Nandeeswarar, Tirumoolar, Bogar and Dhanavantari Peruman. 

Vision and Mission

Anaadi Foundation’s mission is to foster self-reliant individuals and harmonious communities rooted in Bharatiya culture and traditions. The organization envisions a world where individuals lead purpose-driven lives, drawing from the rich heritage of Indian knowledge to address modern challenges holistically.

Ashram and Gurukulam

The main ashram is located at the foothills of Iyvar Malai near Palani in Tamil Nadu. We run 3 types of Gurukulams Bala Gurukulam (2.5-6 yrs), Swadharma Gurukulam (6-10 yrs) and Dharma Gurukulam (11+ yrs). We have these Gurukulas within the ashram, Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Telangana. we run a Shukla Yajurvedapatshala in Praygaraj. More here

Spiritual Activities

We initiate people in to Vel Sadhana, Lakshanama Japa and Yantra Sadhana. We also take people on Himalayan Yatras. Mouna Sadhana programs are organised. We regularly offer annadanam at Prayagraj and Palani. Numerous sadhakas visit the ashram for clarity and spiritual growth. We also intiate people into Brahmacharya and Sanyasa Diksha under the guidance of Swami Kumarananda Giri.

Global Centers

Anaadi Foundation has global centers including Anaadi Global Inc (registered in California) and other volunteer run centers in Amsterdam, Singapore and Malaysia. 

Key Focus Areas

  1. Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division: Anaadi Foundation is a pioneer in the integration of IKS into mainstream education and research. With MoUs with leading institutions such as Gujarat University and SWAYAM Plus, Anaadi Foundation’s IKS initiatives are aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making significant strides in implementing IKS at higher educational institutions. Anaadi has launched multiple programs, courses, and certification initiatives, including:

    • 2025 Launch of IKS STEM Academy and iGurukulam. More here

    • 2024 MoU with SWAYAM Plus (Ministry of Education): Offering online certification courses for IKS and leadership, contributing to the Academic Bank of Credits.

    • Coverage of close to 35000 students as part nation wide IKS implementation from Sep 2025-Feb 2026 across 15 states. More here

    • 2023 Launch of the IKS Video Library in collaboration with CIKS, IIT Madras.

    • Anaadi IKS Books: For young learners and schools, impacting 10,000+ students across private schools. More here

    • Teacher Training Programs: Training over 5000 teachers in IKS, ensuring the next generation is educated with Indic perspectives on subjects like mathematics, astronomy, Ayurveda, and Yoga.

    • IKS Research: Recipient of the Ministry of Education IKS Division Research Grant (2022) for AI and Ayurveda integration projects.

    • 2024 MoU with Gujarat University: A landmark collaboration for the pan-university implementation of IKS as per NEP.

  2. Gurukulams: Anaadi Foundation has established unique Gurukulams that blend traditional Indian education with modern learning frameworks. The curriculum includes Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Yoga, Ganita, and Nakshatra Vidya, enabling students to experience holistic learning. Key Gurukulams include:

    • Dharma Gurukulam (Residential): Serving students aged 11-17, offering a residential education that includes Samskritam, Tamil, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Gau Seva.

    • SvaDharma Gurukulam (Non-Residential): Catering to children aged 6-10, fostering early education in Indic sciences.

    • Bala Gurukulam: A preschool initiative designed for ages 2.5-6, offering a completely Indic curriculum focusing on holistic childhood development.

  3. Rural Empowerment: Anaadi Foundation’s Anaadi Rural AI Center was established in 2023 to bridge the technology gap in rural areas. This center provides training in AI and technology to rural youth, empowering them to use modern tools while staying connected to their cultural roots. Other rural initiatives include:

    • Ayurveda Camps: Conducted for rural communities, impacting over 200 families with traditional wellness practices.

    • Rural Science Fairs: Initiatives like VIBE and ARYSE impact over 1000 students annually, promoting science education in rural schools.

    • Cow-Centric Sustainability: Through conferences and projects like testing of gobar bricks, Anaadi contributes to rural sustainability and environmental consciousness.

  4. Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs): Anaadi Foundation has made significant contributions to higher education through its courses and workshops that integrate Indian Knowledge Systems into various disciplines. These include:

    • Courses on Yoga, Cognition, Neuroscience, and Wellbeing at NRCVEE, IIT Delhi, where Shriman Adinarayanan Ji serves as an Adjunct Professor of Practice.

    • Workshops and Credit Courses at leading institutions, including AI-integrated Ayurveda programs at NCISM/NIS and AI for ISM credit courses.

    • MoUs with institutions such as Gujarat University, PSG Institutions, and PSNA Dindigul to promote IKS.

  5. Research and Innovation: Anaadi Foundation’s research initiatives focus on integrating ancient wisdom with modern technology. Current projects include:

    • AI and Ayurveda: Developing wearables that analyze individual Prakriti and provide insights for personalized wellness.

    • Wellness Index Development: In collaboration with Dr. Mala Kapadia, Anaadi is working on a wellness index using the Hita and Sukha Ayu (HSA) framework.

    • Kalanjiyam Digital Repository: An AI-powered repository for ancient Indian texts, including Siddha and Ayurvedic scriptures.

    • Thirukkural AI Project: A digital preservation initiative using AI technologies.

Publications and Outreach

  • IKS Books: Anaadi’s publications include books and primers on Ayurveda, Nakshatra Vidya, Bharatiya Vijnana, and Yoga, aimed at school students, young learners, and the general public. Popular titles include Amazing IKS and Panchakosha Pathway.

  • Panchakosha Framework: A holistic self-help book based on the Panchakosha model for individual wellbeing.

  • IKS Awareness Sessions: Conducted across major cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Vadodara to spread awareness about IKS.

  • IKS Kendras: Set up in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Tiruvannamalai, and Hyderabad to promote IKS through workshops and regular classes.
