Holistic education is essential as it nurtures students not only academically but also emotionally, socially, and spiritually, fostering well-rounded individuals who can thrive in a diverse and interconnected world. It promotes a deeper understanding of oneself, encourages critical thinking, and instills values, ethics, and empathy, contributing to the development of responsible and compassionate global citizens. By addressing the holistic needs of learners, it equips them with the skills and mindset needed to lead fulfilling lives and positively impact their communities.
In this context, as the NEP highlights, Panchakoshiya Shiksha which focuses on the development of the physical, vital, emotional, intellectual and spiritual-aesthetic dimensions becomes important.
