About the Guru Dampati
Guru Dampati of Anaadi Foundation have more than two decades of experience in academia teaching technology as well as Indian Knowledge Systems and nuanced Indic frameworks from various source texts. Ever since a Divine Ajna (command), they established an Ashram dedicated to Muruga Peruman (Skanda or Kartikeya). The Ashram premises of Anaadi Foundation is located at the foothills of Ivyar Malai, near Palani, Tamilnadu, India. Dhyanaalayam at Anaadi has the Divine Sannidhi of Agastya Maharishi, Mahavatar Babaji and Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The Ashram is also home to the vibrant Anaadi Dharma Gurukulam dedicated to Panchakoshiya Shiksha and Bharatiya Vijnana.
Siddhayogi Shriman Adinarayanan is the co-founding Guru of Anaadi Foundation and a visionary who bridges the ancient spiritual wisdom of India with contemporary life. With over 30 years of Yogic practice rooted in the Siddha Sampradaya, he has gained profound insights into Upanishadic truths, which he shares in his teachings. Right after his MS in NCSU, USA, Shriman had a spontaneous experience of deep relaxation and boundarylessness which he later realised as the state of Samadhi. He then returned to Bharat for engaging in loka seva. His spiritual journey includes over 300+ days of Mouna Tapasya in complete silence and isolation, deepening his realizations. Shriman Adinarayanan holds an MS in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, is a TEDX speaker and has more than a decade of experience in academia, where he taught courses in Computer Science, Yoga, and Mahabharata. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Practice at NRCVEE, IIT Delhi, and plays a significant role in integrating Indian Knowledge Systems into academia and policy making.
Matrushree Ananthalakshmi is the co-founding Guru of Anaadi Foundation, known for her practical and inspiring approach to life, especially among the youth. With a deep commitment to Indic Education and over a decade of experience in academics and research, she has influenced numerous teachers and students with her insights into the teaching and learning process. She has an MS in Information Systems from State University of New York and Amrita University. Before starting Anaadi Foundation, she spent more than a decade at Amrita University as a faculty member and EdTech researcher. In 2010 and 2015 she visited University of L'Aquila as exchange faculty. She is an accomplished author, having written several books on Indian Knowledge Systems, including primers on Yogic Neuroscience and Ayurveda. Maa has played a significant role in leading a few projects with the IKS Division and the Ministry of Education. As a yogic practitioner, researcher, technologist, and teacher, she designs and leads transformative spiritual programs at Anaadi Foundation, empowering sadhakas and educators alike. Maa has earlier led various research initiatives in various interdisciplinary areas bridging Indian Knowledge Systems and contemporary sciences.
